This sculpture was modeled in clay and reproduced in resin. The forms are very simple; the details are not sculpted but painted directly onto the surface, as if it were a painting applied to a three-dimensional support. This technique creates a very special visual effect that works particularly well when viewed in person and in low-light environments. However, much of this effect is lost in photographs.
